An old book draws the shadow of whatever stands on its seal. Build a tower of wooden pieces whose shadow on the pages matches the outline drawn there.

At first there is one shadow. Then the book opens to two pages, and a single tower has to fit both at once — front and side, like an engineering drawing. Later the pieces turn into coloured glass, and the colours have to match as well.

No timers, no score: an evening, a lamp, a few wooden blocks and a book.

Demo: 44 levels, about an hour of play. Play right here in the browser or download for Windows 10/11. A mouse is required. English and Russian.

Playtest

Folio is in development, and I'm looking for honest first impressions: where you had to think, where it got annoying, where you got lost. Send feedback right from the game: Esc → Feedback. A screenshot and a move log are attached automatically — a few words are enough. Wanting to give up on a level is valuable feedback too: tell me which one.

The game only logs your moves (which pieces you picked up, how long you thought) — no personal data — and sends it only when you press the button.

Windows build

Unzip and run Folio.exe. Windows may warn about an unknown publisher — that's normal for an unsigned indie build: "More info" → "Run anyway".

Sounds — Kenney (CC0). Fonts — Caveat, Nunito and Inter (SIL Open Font License). Everything else — one person, in the evenings.
